1) Making a movie of an iPhoto slideshow (have a look at Page 1)
2) I have seen several web sites where a series of photos rotate from one to another in one spot. It is really a slide show, of sorts. Is this possible in iWeb?
3) I want to use iWeb’s photo page but I don’t want to have the first site displaying all the images, I just want the one with the large photo and the row of small thumbnail images along the top
4) Using the FlashAlbumExporter plugin for iPhoto to export slideshows (Great!)
1) Look at Question 4 on Page 1
2) I have seen several web sites where a series of photos rotate from one to another in one spot. It is really a slide show, of sorts. Is this possible in iWeb?
-Question number 1 would be an option
-Make an animated GIF. A good and really easy to use application for making animated gif files is iDraw.
-Make a slideshow on http://www.slide.com/ and then embed using an html snippet.
3) I want to use iWeb’s photo page but I don’t want to have the first site displaying all the images, I just want the one with the large photo and the row of small thumbnail images along the top
it works when I do the following...
When you look at the url of the photos page that are in a MyAlbums page now you have something that looks like this
http://yourdomain.com(or web.me.com/username)/sitename/nameofthemyalbumspage/Pages/pagename.html
if you add #0 (alt+3 and zero) at the end of that url
http://yourdomain.com(or web.me.com/username)/sitename/nameofthemyalbumspage/Pages/pagename.html#0
you get straight to the page you want... So what you would have to do is link to the photo page as it were a link to an external page adding #0 and you publish as you always do...
if you have a personal domain yourdomain.com all your sites are also accessible through web.me.com/username/
you could find out the url by visiting your site using web.me.com/username when you publish it first (that's the easiest way)
or you can use this for a normal photo page
web.me.com/username/sitename/pagename.html then add #0
and change username to your username
sitename to the name of the site displaying in iWeb
pagename to the name of the page
or this for a photopage in a My Albums page
web.me.com/username/NameOfTheMyAlbumsPage/Pages/pagename.html and add #0
here /Pages/ shouldn't be changed only change the other parts
Example: http://alaskadream.org/photos/On_the_road/Pages/Iceland.html#0
4) Using the FlashAlbumExporter plugin for iPhoto to export slideshows (Great!)
