How can I have a forum/discussionboard or messageboard with iWeb? Something like vBulletin...

There is no Forum, Message board or Discussion board in iWeb as you will notice...

What you would have to do is take a Forum like PhpBB’s which is great and I’ve been using for a long time.

Chapter 1: For MobileMe publishers and non-MobileMe publishers

Chapter 2: For non-MobileMe publishers only (and not all of them)

If you publish to MobileMe or don't want to upload a forum to your server or your server doesn't fit the requirements then you can open one for free on a free forumhost like the following ones:

http://www.forumfree.com

http://www.freeforums.org

Or any other you find searching on google

Then link it from your website or embedding them using an iFrame.

However these services are mostly full of advertising, unreliable and little customizable.

I would really recommend you to install the Forum on your own server. It’s not that expansive but much more reliable and much more customizable. If you don’t have a hosting yet or your hosting doesn’t fit the minimum requirements have a look at the Publishing and Hosting FAQ.

Once you installed your Forum I would recommend you to add a page to your iWeb for it. Then either link to it, use an iFrame to embed the Forum into the page or make a Redirect to it.
