RSS problem. Please help this is driving me insane!!

Hello,

Im hosting my site through yahoo web hosting. I upload it with filezilla or cyber duck usually. Everything on my site uploads fine except for my rss feed. The folder RSS Feed located in the scripts folder won't upload. Is it because it has a space in between "RSS" and "Feed"? I tried to change the name of the folder and it doesn't help when i upload. I uploaded it again through iweb and i get an error message almost before the site finished uploading. I don't know why I can't get this to work but its driving me crazy. spent 8 hours on it! any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

1) Did you enter your domain under Website URL in the publishing settings? What did you enter?
2) Do you get the error in Cyberduck when uploading it or when visiting on the web? What's the URL to the page in question?

I did. I entered: http://theblackoutbeat.com

my website is www.theblackoutbeat.com
almost all of it is up there except for the rss feed wich should be on index page. In the meantime i used another html rss widget in place of where the iweb one is. I like the iweb one better. Under the red box at the bottom of the index page i placed an iweb rss widget and it will not show online but does in iweb.

I do get the error in cyber duck as well.

Since both iWeb and Cyberduck fail my guess would be that it's a problem with Yahoo's hosting, maybe blocking some file formats or whatever. I'm using Cyberduck since ten years and it never failed.

Is there a way I can change the file name to remove the space? Where else would i have to change for that file to upload?

Change the name of the folder to RSS_Feed
then open the index.html file in TextWrangler, search for RSS%20Feed (cmd+f) and replace with RSS_Feed. It has to be replaced four times. Then it should work...
