Drop Down menu

Hi,

I have been trying to get my drop down menu to work. I followed your directions with both cyberduck and massreplaceit. I ran find and replace in massreplaceit and the menu is in text on the page I'm testing it on.

I have iweb 09 and created my drop down menu on cssmenumaker. I put the menu file that was inside the menu XXX-xxxx_xxx and not inside the folder with the site name on it (iamleaguebound.com/League_Bound_Sports).

Please help, it's driving me crazy. Thanks.

Hi Veronica,

HereGoesTheMenu should be replace with the menu's code in MassReplaceIt. If HereGoesTheMenu still appears on the page it means that the code wasn't added.

Did you go through Chapter 2 http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_Alternative_HTML.html to know how it works?

I did go through Ch.2 a couple of times. But still no luck. I'm trying to work on and will go through it one more time and let you know how it went. Thanks.

I too am having a problem.

When I put my dropdown menu in the iweb page - it is a text based menu, not the drop down bar that I got from cssmenugenerator.com

My trial page where I uploaded the menu folder is as follows:

I have read through your faq's and chapter 5, and still don't know what I am doing wrong. Please help!

Hi Corey,

there's no reference to the menu_style.css file on your page. No trace of

<style media="all" type="text/css">@import "/menu/menu_style.css";</style>

or similar. No reference to the style means no menu because there's no way for a browser to know what you want it to display without you telling it what to do.
