Hello,
I am a new user of the MacBook and I have iweb on it. I set up a website very easily on this computer and it has been published. However, I would like to set up two websites using iweb because it is so easy. I purchased a new domain name but when I try to publish the second website, it publishes my first and my second under the first domain name. I want to have two different websites with two different names. Do I need to buy additional hosting or is iweb my host. I am confused because I already had a host and a website before I bought my macbook and just redirected my website. I am really confused. Is iweb just software or can it actually host?

This topic is already discussed in an FAQ here (please look through the FAQs before publishing questions to the Forum):

Have a look at Chapter 1 and the rest of it.

iWeb is a software made by Apple Inc. to easily build websites.
There's also a canadian web services provider called iweb but the two things are not related to each other in any way.

In addition to iWeb you also need a hosting. iWeb only builds doesn't host.

Build your website with iWeb. Then Publish to MobileMe (Apple) (I wouldn't recommend it for multiple websites) or to a folder upload it to any host you'd like to use (recommended if publishing multiple sites) the same way you did for your other website.

Sorry, about not looking through all the subject matter, however, I did look at your site prior to posting and was confused with all the detailed information. This makes it very easy to understand. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

No problem really. It's just a way to tell the people reading the thread (not only you) to have a look at the FAQs so that I don't have to answer the same questions again and again :)

I'm glad I could help you and you're welcome ;)
Cédric
