Using the now dubious iWeb, I set the poster frame for a movie as specified, upload the website to my FTP service (thank heavens it's NOT mobileme), and when I view the cinematography page on an iOS device, the poster frame setting is respected; on MacOS (safari) - no poster frame - a black opening frame.

Ugh.

Any help?

Thanks in advance,

Michael Schoenfeld

Hi Michael,

unfortunately the poster frame doesn't work in Mac OS but only in iOS.

If the movie starts with a black screen maybe it would work if you would add the poster frame to the movie itself (in iMovie) for it to start with the poster frame.

But I didn't try that.

Regards,
Cédric

Good morning (afternoon/evening for you) Cedric,

That's what I figured after more reading - I put a jpeg at the front of each movie with final cut pro.
If you have a moment, please take a look and see what you think. I tested it on MacOS, iOS, and PC.

Rapidweaver - looks like I need to get that tutorial too!
;-)
