Custom Slideshow

My knowledge of web designing is very low and I am using iweb 3.0.3 for the first time, for a personal page.

My problem is: I'd like to create a basic photo slideshow with slide-able thumbnails on the bottom which when "clicked" will open as a larger photo at the center of the page-(fading in and out).

I do not like the template that appears on the Iweb "photo page" (mostly the text) Is there any way to change the position of the thumbnails to go to the bottom, and the text/command fonts that specify (play slideshow) (previous) (next)?

Can I do this on another program and import that to Iweb??

Nope. I too would love that feature, but iWeb doesn't have it.
