Hi everyone,
I made my website and published it, it worked very well several days but after some revisions and additions, 2 problems appeared:
1. I made 3 text paragraphs in 3 separate text boxes and one of them changed size automatically when publishing to bluehost (and even when I published it in local folder). I followed the advice in forums - like delete the file com.apple.iweb.plist...but it does not help.
2. My navigation totally changed without me having touched it - font type, size and position on page (text moved from right-align to left-align within the box). After refreshing several times, the navigation seems normal now but I would like to know the reason and its solution so that I know for sure my page displays correctly.
FYI the site is at http://www.arminstelljes.com (The text is in the About page)

I read elsewhere that these problems are common with iweb - that unforeseen and unpredictable changes occur (and more frequently so after updating) and that this is the price to pay for the user-friendly interface. Is that so?

1) If that happens deleting the com.apple.iweb.plist file doesn't help. Instead it may help to delete the TextBox causing problems (entire TextBox, not just content) then paste and match style of the content from Edit menu then reapply styling.
2) If by reloading you mean reload the page in the browser then the browser (Safari) probably cached the info so instead of loading the entire page it loaded only part of it and took the rest from the cache and there probably was a conflict between cached and real page. Safari, Safari, Empty Cache then reload the page. Why does it happen visiting your own page but never visiting other pages? 'cause as the webmaster you visit the page more often in shorter time hence it's more prone to be cached. When visiting other pages you probably visit other pages as well which makes the first pages less likely to be cached or being overwritten by other pages.

Having stuff moving around or changing formatting is the price to pay using iWeb, that's my experience so far... Sometimes it's enough to delete a TextBox and re-add it, other times it's enough to choose Publish Entire Site from File menu instead of Publish other times it's best to rebuild the entire page, or place an object so that it looks wrong in iWeb but then looks right once published. Anyway I don't think it happens all too often.

thank you very much for your advice. I found that the size of the textbox causes problem. It looks fine in iweb but when it's published, the text will be changed to smaller, so my experience is leaving one more line below the last text line and it works now

I too was going bananas when my font size and format changed unexpectedly and for the worse

I cleared the Safari Cache published the entire site.
Which ever did it it worked although I thh had to change back to the old/propeer font sizes

I thought at one time that the choice of theme (adding a page) might be the problem
