I resized my page from 700 px to 968 px wide. When I stretch the navigation bar to the new width of my page, the background color of the navigation bar doesn't extend to the full width of the text box. I've included a screenshot.

That's not a problem. That's how iWeb works.

Most of iWeb's themes are made of images and the image size is calculated for default width of 700 px (or similar). If you increase the width of the page and the images are calculated for a width of 700px of course it will not work.

Hence either use a black or white theme which is not made of graphics as Darkroom is or go into iWeb's application source and increase the width of the nav bar background image of the Darkroom theme.

If you want to change the width of the nav bar menu background image select the iWeb application hit ctrl+click and select "Show package contents" => Contents => Resources => Themes => Select Darkroom.webtheme and again "Show package content" => Go to Shared => PhotoGray_nav_bg.png

This is the image behind the navigation menu.

Open it in Photoshop or another image editor and duplicate it to increase the size of the picture, save it. Done.

Regards,
Cédric

Your site is great! Thanks for your help. Much appreciated! Is it possible to change the appearance of the albums in the album page?

On the album page click on an album and you will see a black popup window appearing where you can set how many columns the page should have, the size of the albums and more. On the top-right of that window you read "Index style:" underneath it there's an image. Click on it and you will see 17 different styles to choose from.

Regards,
Cédric

Yes I know, but I don't like the styles. Can I change it?

No but you could build your own album page. Take a blank page and add a picture of an album you like and link it to the photopage. You loose the skim effect and so on but if you don't mind about that it doesn't matter.
