I am trying to create the sliding Menu on my home page but it isn't working when I publish it. I am trying to publish directly from a local folder on my harddrive because I just want to give my client a preview of what one of his website options are, is there anyway to go through the local folder? I think the problem I am having is with the imageMenu folder but I tried to make an adjustment to the sliding_image_menu text by changing the source files to read "file://localhost/Users/ajalove/Desktop/HaywoodREO/imageMenu/lighter/Fuel.html.js."

Hi,

you may want to read "How can I entirely develop a website in local (on my computer) without having to upload anything to the web?" on page 4 of the current version of my E-Book (2.4) to know how to use the menu in local.

Kind regards,
Cédric

I have moved all of the information to the Macintosh HD folder including the site folder with the index.html inside, and imageMenu folder in it separately. I am still having problems. I have made the necessary changes to the sliding_menu_txt file and tried to add it as a html snippet but it remains as /sliding_image_menu.txt when I open the page in Safari.

If you put the imageMenu folder into Macintosh HD there are no changes to be made in the code of sliding_image_menu.txt
/imageMenu/lighter/Fuel.js.js stays /imageMenu/lighter/Fuel.js.js same for all other paths.

Unfortunately unless you publish to the web and provide me with a link there's no way for me to tell you what you're doing wrong, sorry.

Regards,
Cédric
