I realize that others had the same difficulty, and tried hard to understand. I spent now 8-10 hours trying to test a simple dropdown menu and am still unsuccessful.
Guess it has something to do with the correct notification of the path to the menu-formatting file "menu_style.css" (?)
Tried every silly imaginable things to find my error...

the name of the site is: web.me.com/longeraie
username: ego
password: nobody (it has nothing specially confidential)

the page where I try to test the menus customized on http://www.cssmenumaker.com/ and then downloaded, is http://web.me.com/longeraie/longeraie/Bac_à_sable_ph.html
I have the impression I follow step by step the iwebfaq usermanual ( excellent manuel ! ) but for sure I am missing something.
I join a picture of the structure of the files on my iDisk

Thank you for help

Hi,

you have to upload the "menu" folder into the iDisk/Web/Sites/ folder not into the "longeraie" folder as you did.

Once you moved the "menu" folder in the /Sites/ folder for it to be near the index.html file and not in the "longeraie" folder the menu should work.

Kind regards,
Cédric

Yes ! and now it works.

Should have asked earlier, but did not want to disturb for what should have been simple. I misunderstood the specifications of your eBook, which in fact is remarkably clear.

Anyway thank you very much for your quick help.

You're welcome I'm glad it works now.

Between Sites folder and site's folder there's just an apostrophe but it can cause something to work or not. It's easy to misuderstand.
