Why the long URL with CNAME (or am I doing something wrong?)

Hi, I have my own domain name hosted with mobileme, and have used CNAME to allow me to just type http://www.mydomain.com" target="_blank into a browser and see my website - which is great, obviously.

My problem is the extra long URL which is displayed, and looks like this:

http://www.mydomain.com/iWeb/mydomain.com/Welcome.html" target="_blank

Is this normal, or can I make it better?

/iWeb/ is because you're using iWeb '06 if you'd use iWeb '08 there wouldn't be any /iWeb/ anymore

the /mydomain.com/ that comes after the /iWeb/ is due to how you named your site in iWeb. It's pretty bad to name it after your domain. That's a thing a lot of people do and I don't know why they're doing it... Nameing it just "site" would be much better then you'd have

http://www.mydomain.com/iWeb/site/Welcome.html

and if you'd update to iWeb '08

http://www.mydomain.com/site/Welcome.html
