Hi there

Great site Cedric, thanks for your efforts. I have published our interim business site to MobileMe in order to gain access to the comments feature of the blogging.

I have this up there as domain1.com (not my real domain :) ) And when you type in www.domain1.com it ends up as http://www.domain1.com/CompanyName/Home.html

I also have domain2.com, domain3.com, domain4.com and domain5.com and I want them all to do a redirect to domain1.com so that when people type in that address that is where they end up.

I am not fussy about domains 2-5 showing in the url. I just want them to take people to the home page.

I have read through your FAQs - http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_Domains.html specifically.

I think what I need is WebForwarding with Cloaking (or masking)?? Am I right there?

I am not sure how to configure this.

What I have done is from my DNS manager of domains 2-5 I have created a CNAME that points www.domainX.com (where x=2-5) to www.domain1.com in the hope that this will work.

It doesn't appear to.

What happens is that it appears to take me to the correct site in that I end up with http://www.domainX.com/CompanyName/Home.html and a blank page with an error message of:

"Account Error: Missing Locator"

Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Cheers

Taryn

www.domain2.com leading to www.domain.com/CompanyName/Home.html is a simple WebForward (no cloaking/masking)

A WebForward does not have anything to do with CNAME. CNAME is CNAME WebForward is WebForward. If you don't know how to make a WebForward from www.domain2.com to domain1.com you better ask your registrar 'cause I really have no clue what registrar you're using nor how it works hence there's no way for me to help you on that. I just can tell you what you need, how to achieve it should be written in your registrar's support documentation.

Regards,
Cédric
