Can anyone tell me how to open up my websites again? I made a duplicate copy of the domain file in iWeb08 so that I can seperate my 2 websites - and then I placed them on the desktop hoping to open up one (deleting 'website 1' and saving it as a single website) - then opening up the duplicate (and deleting website 2) - so that I would now have "two" individual site files.
However, when I tried to open up any of the newly moved files on my desktop, iWeb would not respond. I tried to place the files back through...Library/iWeb extension again - but still no response. Does anyone know how I can get my websites to open up again?

Close iWeb.

Select a Domain and hit Command(Apple)+i
go to Name&Extension make sure the extension is .sites2 if you're using iWeb '08 .sites if you're using iWeb '06
In Open with be sure that iWeb is selected.

Double-click the Domain and it should open.
Also try to select it hit ctrl+click=>Open with and select iWeb

If you're using iWeb '06 be sure they are named exactly Domain.sites

Be sure that iWeb is closed before double-clicking a Domain file.

Some kinda way I got it to work! Thanks! :D I still need to seperate the domains -and for some reason I am not sure if I am doing it according to the directions I found on your site.. because it's not working for me. I want to try it again - but this time I better make a backup since I forgot to do that last time :? By the way, once I get the 2 sites seperated, how do I upload/publish them seperately. How do I point the second domain to the newly created website since I already have it set up for the 1st website already published?

To be able to answer your question I would need to know how you publish your website:
- To one .mac account?
- To more than one .mac account?
If you're publishing to a folder
- One server?
- More than one server?
One website to .mac and the other to another server?
