I had 2 domain names bought by the web designer who designed my first website. I believed they were in my name. I recently built my own website on iweb '08 and asked him to forward the domain names to mobile me as i was no 1 on Google searches. This he did ( after alot of difficult emailing ) and it worked well. Then a couple of weeks ago everything went wrong.He has informed me that the domain names belong to him and is requesting alot of money and has made things very difficult. It is now difficult to find my site through searches and comes up with script etc.
I have bought a new domain name and want to know if I can transfer my new domain name onto my iweb site? I would then cease using the old ones that I have no control over.
I would then start again with google searches but it would be easy compared with the problems i am having with this man.I do not want to continue with the old domain names but want to keep my new website. Help!!

Hi,

just tell your hosting you want to use this domain instead of that domain and upload the website's files to the new domain. And tell your hosting you want to get rid of the other domain.

If you use MobileMe just change the domain in your MobileMe settings.
