iWeb '09. Once you have made a Welcome page looking how you like it - how does one make subsequent added pages duplicate those settings (background pattern, page colours etc).
I notice in the Blog instructions it says if you have altered the page colours etc to ask for a "duplicate"page -- but thats not useful on the rest of a web site if you are selecting other pages within a template.
Am I asking too much?

Unfortunately that's not possible in iWeb.

For the iWebFAQ website I took a Blank White page and changed the background size etc. I then duplicated it for the other pages.

If I want to add a Welcome, About Me, Photos or a Movie page I select all, copy and paste it onto my blank page.

That doesn't work for My Albums pages, Blogs and Podcasts. For those pages you have to re-apply the settings manually and then duplicate the entries.

Regards,
Cédric

I feel an email to Apple coming on :-)
sjobs@apple.com
(1) we need/want sitewide matching matching
(2) be able to reimport a site back into iWeb

.... and I expect we can think of some more. :-)

Thanks

There are a few things that would need to be changed or added to iWeb.

As an example I hate HTML Snippets  and would ask for a better way to manage/edit the HTML code in iWeb.

I added a "Wish List" section to the Forum (here) and hope that someday among the 500 visits/month from Apple employees one of them is working in the developer team of iWeb and reads the list.

Regards,
Cédric
