Been following your secion of 'How can I get my wiWeb created website ... to shohw up on google and have been unsuccessful with the verification process. Please can you pinpoint where I am going wrong?
I have used Rage Sitemap Automator and my two sitemaps for www.twoscountry.com and www.matthewjay.com are now published. Then, I downloaded the HTML verification code on the google webmaster central page.
I then went to Finder menu and selected the Web/Sites folder and successfully dragged www.twoscountry.com/googled29713c750f4a0e6.html into the Sites folder, However, when I hit
http://www.twoscountry.com/googled29713c750f4a0e6.html I just got a message - The requested URL /googled29713c750f4a0e6.html was not found on this server

Any ideas what I should try next please Cedric.

Non-MobileMe http://iwebfaq.org/site/iWeb_Google_1.html

refers to MobileMe only. If you are not hosting with MobileMe then there is no Web/Sites/ folder! So I don't know what you are doing but you're not doing what my instructions say...

You have to upload the googled29713c750f4a0e6.html file to the root of your website. For it to come up by entering http://www.twoscountry.com/googled29713c750f4a0e6.html

How do I upload a file which is not added directly to iWeb and what will its URL be? (images, .mp3 files, flash files, .html files, .zip files or any other file...)
