I host multiple sites through godaddy on the same hosting account. I just add different folders for each site. I was able to make an amazing sliding menu on my personal site www.brettanewton.com, thank you, but I was wondering if I wanted to add a sliding menu to multiple sites within my hosting accounts do I need to rename the "imageMenu" folder to "imageMenu1", "imageMenu2" etc... and what do I need to change in the html coding to direct it to the newly named folders?

I also want to put multiple sliding menus on one site. Would that be the same process?

Thanks, you are the bomb digitty.

If the menus are used on different domains there's no need to use imageMenu1, imageMenu2, ...
If they are under the same domain there is and you will have to adapt all the references to the folder in the code you add in the HTML Snippet.

Cédric

I have been experimenting with another sliding menu on another site.. www.hungrylunchbox.info .. I added a sliding menu at the bottom to use as a link page to other pages outside of the page that it's on. I have successfully made it so each slide goes to another page, although now the photos do not show up that I have attached to the names. They are just colors. I have checked the coding and it seems to look right. any advice?

Also why is this code written with "landscapes" in lowercase and then the 2nd "Landscapes" is capitalized? what difference does this make?

<li class="landscapes"><a href="http://www.brettanewton.com/BrettANewton/HOME.html" target="_top">Landscapes</a></li>

The first landscape is the class which defines the style. This may not be changed without problems. The second Landscape is the link name which may be changed to whatever you want with no problems at all and displays when people have javascript disabled as normal link.

As for your other question open this page:
http://www.hungrylunchbox.info/HungryLu ... arkup.html
in Safari. Go to Window, Activity and you will certainly be able to find out why the images don't display.

Good luck,
Cédric

I still have not been able to figure out why the pictures are not showing up on the sliding menu.

I had no issue on www.brettanewton.com and the menu looks great. but now I have two other sites www.hungrylunchbox.info and www.clearcutdigital.com and the pictures for the menus are not showing up. As far as where you told me to look, I did not see the full address.

*FYI - I am hosting under godaddy and they are all being hosting from the same hosting account. Brettanewton.com is in it's own folder "brettanewton", clearcutdigital.com is in it's own folder too "clearcutdigital", and I did the exact same thing for clearcutdigital.com as I did with Brettanewton.com but clearcutdigital does not work. I am confused.

Hope you can help.. Thanks
Brett

I don't think I can help you unless you'd grant me access to the server since I don't know GoDaddy.

Cédric

I figured it out. I had the picture files, in both cases, named as png and not jpg. As soon as I changed the file name endings it worked perfectly. Thanks for your help!

FYI,
Your image menu does not "slide" on mouseover in IE.
