Cedric does an excellent job of explaining they why and the how

However when he gets to some of the usage for Facebook (and Twitter) he provides less
of the reasons for using a particular technique. Such as why should I want to post information on my Wall, who will see it who will not, how will this affect the propagation etc.

Many books on Facebook talk a lot of drivel about content and not how to actually make it happen
Cedric does a very good job of how to make it happen
But occasionally he is light on what the task will accomplish.

The problem with Facebook is that they make a lot of changes very frequently and they do it quietly. As an example the feed displaying on Like Boxes which I used as a News ticker on my website used to display the feed and hence the news publicly. Now it only displays if you're logged in to Facebook hence if you have a Facebook account. Which in turn makes it quite useless for my purposes. Maybe they will change it back to public, maybe not. Anyway this makes it hard for me to write anything on it.
