Hi Cedric - I recently purchased your e-book, and it has been very useful. I used the Auto-Fading text html snippet on a website for a book (betterwithnuts.com), to cycle through different testimonials underneath an image of the book cover. This looks great when I am in iweb, but I noticed that when I published the changes, the text does not appear on Safari. I went to a couple of different computers, and the auto fade text displays well on IE and on Chrome. On Firefox, the line breaks I entered (</br>) don;t seem to have taken effect. Oddly enough, in a different computer, Safari (older version) did display the auto fade text, but with the same line breaks issues as in Firefox. Any assistance on how to make this work on different browsers would be appreciated. Thanks. - Octavio

Hi,

I checked the page in question on Safari 5.1.3, Chrome 16.0.912.77, Firefox 10.0 and Opera 11.52 and to me it displays the same on all four and it displays correctly with page breaks on all four browsers. So I can't see the issues you're experiencing but what you may want to try is use the code for Mixed contents slideshow from page 182 instead.

Have you tried emptying the browser's cache and reload the page?

Regards,
Cédric

Hi - Thanks for the reply. Resetting Safari, clearing the cache fixed the issue (I could swear I did it before, but I must no have done it). When I restarted firefox, I was prompted to update it - and it seems to be displaying ok. Thanks again.

No problem, sometimes strange things happen on the web ;)
